In the wake of the legal dispute between Min Hee-jin and HYBE, NewJeans fans are facing harsh criticism from some online communities.
A viral comment posted on a Korean forum harshly criticized fans who previously supported Min Hee-jin, only to now turn their support back to NewJeans under ADOR after recent courtroom developments. The post read: “They acted like they were winning by siding with Min Hee-jin, but now that nothing’s going their way in court, they’re crawling back to ADOR like nothing happened. Disgusting.”

The author went further, coining the term “싸패토끼단” (Psychobunnyz) a twisted version of the NewJeans fandom name “Bunnies” to mock what they see as sociopathic behavior: supporting Min Hee-jin during the conflict, then backtracking without accountability.
They also claimed that “none of the arguments from Min Hee-jin’s side held up in court,” accusing her supporters of delusion and ignoring the facts as they emerged.
As NewJeans remains under the management of ADOR, led by Min Hee-jin, this internal division among fans continues to fuel tension. On platforms Pann, debates rage on between those loyal to Min Hee-jin and those choosing to separate the group’s future from her legal battles.
- I find people who pity themselves hilarious. Like, “I’m so sad and lonely without NewJeans, I have nothing to listen to” LOL. Two years ago before NewJeans debuted, y’all were doing just fine.
- If you’re a normal person, just seeing the leaked KakaoTalk messages before the court’s decision should’ve been enough to cut ties.
- The bugs telling them to “go back” seriously think they’re better than the bugs cheering on the lawsuit—it’s laughable. They’re all the same. NewJeans is acting like this, and yet the fandom is still so obsessed they can’t even leave. If NewJeans goes back to HYBE, those same fans will just start attacking other idols again. It’s obvious. I hope they don’t go back—just the thought is disgusting.
- The fans are even dumber than NJ’s.
- I feel bad for NewJeans, but honestly, just thinking about their hardcore fans makes me wish they’d crash and burn like this. They’re the ones who trashed HYBE nonstop and tormented other HYBE idols like crazy. And now they’re saying, “go back”? Where’s your conscience? Dead?
This growing backlash reflects how fandom culture can become highly polarized during high-profile industry disputes—especially when legal and ethical issues are involved.
